早朝４時に起きて列車に乗る。朝のアジアの駅の雰囲気は好きな感じだ。ドーム型の古い屋根に、大体は大理石が床に敷かれていてかっこいい。国境に向かう列車は３等車以外が無い。快適そうなシートを確保してローカルと一緒に揺られながら国境の街ポイペットを目指す。列車の車内はアットホームでいい感じ。上空を扇風機が回る。昔の日本みたいだ。
揺られること５時間３０分。ボーダーでカンボジアビザを取得して国境を超える。結構思ったより面倒くさい。ローカルバスに乗り換え首都プノンペンを目指す。
着いたのは夜。ホテルの質は思っていたよりいい感じ。ロビーの貝のシャンデリアがかっこいい。今日は一日中移動だった。明日はこのホテルの系列店などのペイントをしているニュージーランドとカンボジアのハーフのアーティストと会う予定だ。彼は海外のライターとも仲が良くてMSKや多くのアーバンアーティストと交流がある人物。
