アウトサイドのスポットに向かう。800メートルくらいの壁にびっしりピースが並ぶ。ここら辺は中級のエリアで生活するなら1ヶ月300ドルくらいから2ベットくらいのアパートメントがある。スラムはビジターが生活するには厳しい環境で夜には売春婦とドラッグディーラーから物取りが沢山。夜、車でガイドしてもらったけど外には出れなかった。
イスタンブールの食べ物は日本人の口には合う食べ物が多いと思う。ケバブのような肉料理にヨーグルトをかけて食べるものや、沢山のスイート類。全部の食べ物にどこか品があって凝った食べ物が多い。多くの建築と食文化からここがシルクロードのちょうど中間だということを感じることができる。
夕方、海の方を散歩した。映画の魔女の宅急便みたいな感じ。カモメが沢山飛んでいて橋の上からみんな竿を垂らして釣りをしている。夕日に照らされたモスクが奇麗。
シーサイドでよく売っている“サバサンド”。フランスパンに挟まれたイスタンブール名物は絶妙に旨い。ライムをたっぷり絞って食べる。
